HYDERABAD: TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao made satirical comments on the words and phrases banned in Parliament and said some BJP leaders and prime minister Narendra Modi’s words being against their opponents are fine. He sought to know the details of farmers, whose income doubled as being claimed by the union agriculture ministry.
Taking to twitter on Saturday, KTR said "PM calling protesters 'Andolan Jeevi ‘is fine?, `Goli Maaron Saalon Ko’ by a minister is okay, `80-20’ by Uttar Pradesh chief minister is okay?, Denigration of Mahatma Gandhi by a BJP MP is fine? and farmers protesters insulated as terrorists is fine?.”
On the farmers double income claim, the minister said the Union agriculture ministry claimed on twitter that in response to the PM’s clarion call for doubling the farmers’ income, the income of very large number of farmers has more than doubled, KTR asked Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to provide the details of farmers, whose income doubled to the people of the country, if the claim is true.
“How many millions of farmers doubled their income? Which state are these farmers from? Which initiative of the government was key to achieve this?,” KTR asked on Twitter. hyderabad
