A savvy woman has taken to social media to share her genius way to roast potatoes without having to use the oven.
Ria McCullough's method for making crispy roasties uses a slow cooker instead of an oven, and it's causing quite the stir online with many people keen to give it a go.
In a post on Facebook, Ria - from Carnmoney in Co Antrim - claimed her version of roast potatoes was so good that she'll "never cook them conventionally again.”

The home cook started with some potatoes, which she parboiled for 10 minutes, before leaving them to steam dry in a colander.
As they cooled down, she sprinkled them with flour, salt and pepper, onion granules, and some sage before shaking them to evenly coat them in the mixture.
Ria then added "a few glugs" of mild olive oil to her slow cooker and turned the temperature up high so the oil would be hot when she popped the potatoes in.
She then tossed them in the oil so they were coated and were left to cook on high for four hours, with a tea towel placed under the lid, turning twice during the time.
Ria's post on the public Facebook page Slow Cooking UK, received more than 2.7k likes and over 700 comments.
She shared a photo along with the recipe for the potatoes she had cooked and they looked like the perfect golden and crispy spuds.
One person responded by saying: "They are amazing, a little bit of oil. Didn't realise I could use the SC [slow cooker] for anything other than a casserole."
Another said: "Never thought of doing roasties in my SC, but they sure do look amazing."
While a third added: "OMG you've just saved my Sunday roasts (until I finally get a new oven that is lol) beauties."
