Ireland could soon have another millionaire as the second highest lotto jackpot of the year is up for grabs tonight.
Wednesday's Lotto jackpot is heading for €7.5 million, which makes it the second highest jackpot of 2023.

The family scooped a whopping €11.1 million after purchasing their winning quick pick ticket in Kelly's Costcutter in Foynes, Co Limerick.
So far, there have been six new millionaires made from Lotto and Lotto Plus games this year, including four jackpot winners from Limerick, Dublin and Meath.
Speaking on the day of the draw, a National Lottery spokesperson said: "We are thrilled to see another large jackpot up for grabs tonight.
"The Lotto jackpot is currently on its 14th roll and the anticipation and excitement of the draw is palpable. So far this year, we’ve had 12 National Lottery millionaires, six of these have been made through Lotto and Lotto plus games alone."
Players hoping to be in with a chance of becoming Irelands newest millionaire and 5th jackpot winner of the year, are advised to purchase their tickets early, ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time this evening.
Tickets can be purchased either in-store, on the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie.
