Irish Lotto reveal where €12m jackpot won as players in Donegal and Westmeath urged to check tickets

The search is on for Ireland’s newest multi-millionaires who both won the Lotto jackpot worth a staggering €12,747,756.

Saturday night’s Lotto draw saw the highest jackpot prize on offer so far in 2023.

In an incredible night of fortune, there were two winners who both matched all six numbers plus the bonus.

This means they will share the mega jackpot and take home a life-changing €6,373,878 each.

A National Lottery spokeswoman urged players to check their tickets as she revealed the locations where the lucky tickets were bought.

It has been confirmed that the winning tickets were sold in Westmeath and Donegal. The exact location of the winning stores will be announced in the coming days.

The winning numbers for last night’s draw were 2, 3, 21, 43, 44, 46 and bonus 7.

Meanwhile, the jackpot winners weren’t the only big victors in the draw. Two players from Dublin and Carlow managed to correctly match five numbers and the bonus scooping a handsome €61,202 each.

The winner from the Capital purchased their winning quick pick ticket on the day of the draw in Supervalu , Ballally Shopping Centre, Dublin 16. The second winning quick pick ticket was sold at Circle K, Junction 5 in Rathcrogue, Co Carlow.

Issuing advice to the winners, the spokeswoman said: “With so many big wins in Saturday night’s Lotto draw, the National Lottery is urging players nationwide to check their tickets very carefully.

“The four big winners of the night from Westmeath, Donegal, Dublin and Carlow are advised to sign the back of their winning tickets and keep them safe. All winners should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
