An Irish influencer who made her way to the opening of the new Penneys store in Tallaght had a disastrous moment - as she lost her engagement ring.
Dominique Nugent was one of thousands of people who poured in the doors of the retailer in The Square on Thursday morning to celebrate their newest store.
But she took to her Instagram shortly after to explain how things went badly wrong.
As DublinLive report, Dominique, who got engaged to her boyfriend Paddy last month, explained on her story: "I lost my engagement ring tonight. I’m actually devastated. I had it on leaving Penneys at the bottom level of @thesqtallaght and walked out to the bottom floor car park through the multi story car park facing The Brass Fox.
"The staff have been so helpful but no one has come across it and we have been searching for the last few hours. It has a plastic sizer attachment on the back as it was too loose on me.
"If anyone comes across it please message me. It has sentimental value to me."
A further update from the Dubliner saw her explain in a teary video: “I’m so sad that I lost it. Fingers crossed someone finds it. Thanks to everyone that shared it."
Beauty and fashion blogger Dominique has been with Paddy for a year and a half, with her beau popping the question last month during a romantic evening together.
