Irish beach closed off after body of boy, 14, found by gardai

Gardai Irish Coast Guard

Gardai closed off part of Laytown beach in Co Meath on Thursday afternoon after the body of a 14-year-old boy was found.

A search had been ongoing for Bilal Tunkara since Wednesday with the tragic find made a day later.

Officers cordoned off the scene after the Irish Coast Guard helped in the search before the devastating news broke.
