Ireland will finally see a return to 'normal' weather for this time of year over the weekend, with the clearance of any snow showers leading to a mixed bag of rain, wind and sunny spells.
Storm Gladys avoided the island for the most part, though a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland remains in place until 9am.
In the rest of the country though, we're waking up to a bit of a cold, but still a pleasant start to Friday.
And there's good news for anyone sick of seeing flurries or freezing their ears off.
Here's the latest from Met Eireann.
Friday
Today will see a "chilly start with some icy patches", with a possibility of snow in the north in particular.
A Met Eireann statement reads: "Good sunny spells this morning but cloud will increase during the afternoon, bringing patches of drizzle to the northwest. Becoming milder with afternoon temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees, in mostly moderate southwesterly breezes that will freshen through the afternoon, becoming strong near Atlantic coasts."
Friday night
Things will be slightly warmer overnight than it has been in recent days, with a fair few clouds.
There will also be "patchy light rain and drizzle, mostly in the west and south. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees with fresh or strong and gusty southerly winds." according to the statement.
Saturday
Saturday will be "mostly cloudy and windy with a little patchy light rain or drizzle, mostly in the west and south but becoming more widespread later" the forecast reads.
"A few brighter spells are possible in the northeast. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with strong and gusty southerly winds." it adds.
Saturday night and Sunday
The forecast concludes: "On Saturday night and on Sunday morning, rain will move eastwards across the country followed by clear spells and scattered showers.
"Fresh to strong and gusty winds will moderate and veer northwesterly with the clearance of the rain.
"Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, coldest in the west and southwest later in the night where some mist or fog patches may form after the rain and with a touch of frost possible too.
"The rest of the rain will then clear from the northeast and east on Sunday morning or early afternoon, leaving dry and bright weather with moderate southerly winds. However, cloud will build in from the west during the afternoon and evening with wet and windy weather developing along the west coast later in the day. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees."
