On July 8, many Thai media and friends flocked to iQIYI VIP ASIA TOUR PRESS CONFERENCE AND FAN MEETING WITH LUO ZHENG at centralwOrld Shopping Centre for the Chinese drama heartthrob's first international fan event. Nicknamed as "Chinese drama fan's favourite husband", Luo Zheng visited Thailand to promote iQIYI as the streaming platform's international VIP ambassador, serving the overseas fans with quality fun time.
The atmosphere of the press conference in the morning was full of fun and liveliness for both Luo Zheng and his Thai fans. The actor kicked off the event with his iconic suave 'bossy boss' look, and was warmly greeted by iQIYI's Country Director, Parnsuk Tongrob, with marigold flower garland.
His iQIYI VIP fans also surprised him with the national delight, durian. In return, Luo Zheng romantically shared the taste of sweetness with his lucky fan by spoon feeding her - quickly heating up the event with screams!
Widely known for his 'bossy boss' roles on iQIYI, Luo Zheng even showed fluent Thai saying "Hi Babe, I love you and I want to see you" and "Oh you, so sweet!" when he tries to recruit a Thai secretary, which is exactly a plot of his latest drama series, Skip a Beat.
The morning event was successfully wrapped with a group photos of Luo Zheng with iQIYI's Country Director of Thailand, Parnsuk Tongrob and Jiranee Poonnayom, Director of East Asia Market Tourism Authority of Thailand, who expressed his/her warmest welcome to him.
The afternoon fan meet took place at the SF Cinema, exclusively curated for iQIYI VIP members. Luo Zheng arrived with another 'boyfriend' look overloaded with casual handsomeness. Everyone at the event enjoyed the games and prizes greatly and were immersed in smiles, laughter and happiness. The first fun game challenged the fans to guess the series name blindfolded, solely based on Luo Zheng reading the drama's Thai title names! The room was fully amused by dancing two of the most popular songs on the internet including Mong Narn Marn by FLI:P, and EI EI, Luo Zheng's first signature performance when he was still a trainee from a talent competition show. Thai fans always know how to pamper their idols - surprised Luo Zheng into tears with a warm piece of fan art and wrapped the event on a high note!
