IPO or Initial Public Offering season is underway. While there are a number of companies have shown keen interests in going public, several firms have also delayed the IPO procedure. Nvidia-backed Iambic Therapeutics, which uses AI to develop drugs, was aiming to raise up to $159.4 million in its US IPO, as the biotech sector emerges as a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster market. The initial public offering would value the drugmaker at up to $805.8 million — towards the top of its indicated price range — based on the number of outstanding shares listed in its prospectus, a regulatory filing showed.
Netherlands-based Refresco and its owner KKR took pitches from investment banks in recent weeks for roles on a potential initial public offering of one of the world's largest independent beverage manufacturers, according to people familiar with the matter. Refresco is studying a listing which could happen in either the United States or Europe, with any market debut likely valuing the company at more than $10 billion, the people said, speaking anonymously to discuss confidential matters. The plans are preliminary and could change, the people cautioned.
