MUMBAI: After the seven-wicket defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday, Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) skipper Shreyas Iyer said his team put in a great effort in the game, but it was a bad day as a bowling unit.

Brilliant half-centuries by Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram led SRH to a comfortable in their IPL 2022 match at the Brabourne Stadium here on Friday.
