The International Criminal Court, which US President Donald Trump's administration has threatened to dismantle "brick by brick", has been awarded the European Union's Sakharov human rights prize.

The ⁠International Criminal Court has been awarded the European Union's 2026 Sakharov Prize, the EU's top prize regarding human rights work.
