Insufficient Rain in Vietnam and Brazil Pushes Coffee Prices Higher

July arabica coffee (KCN24) this morning is up +2.60 (+1.32%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN24) is up +50 (+1.46%).

Coffee prices this morning are moderately higher.  Insufficient rainfall in Vietnam and Brazil may lead to lower coffee yields and is bullish for prices.  The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association said today that this month's total rainfall in Vietnam's Dak Lak province, a key coffee-growing region, is likely to be 50% lower than last year.
