The Eagles answered the call and moved to 6-1 on the season after a dominant 31-17 win over the Dolphins on Sunday night in front of a packed crowd at Lincoln Financial Field.
Wearing the Kelly Green alternates for the first time since 2010, Philadelphia rode a gritty performance from quarterback Jalen Hurts, who threw for 279 yards and combined three scores to lead the Birds to a primetime victory.
A.J. Brown had 10 catches for 137 yards and one touchdown, his fifth straight game with 125+ yards.
Tyreek Hill accounted for 88 yards on 11 catches with one touchdown, but the Eagles were able to absorb the Miami punches while not allowing any primary scoring drives.
With the Birds set to face the Commanders in Week 8, we’re looking at an instant analysis of Sunday’s massive win.
Turnovers continue for Jalen Hurts
Hurts had the first half fumble, and then struggled to recognize the blitzing nickel cornerback and had his pass deflected for a turnover, continuing his streak.
Just like that, we're tied up 🐬

Philadelphia needed to be dominant and physically stout up front and the final drive was the perfect replica.
That was a huge statement drive for the Eagles: 13 plays, 83 yards, two fourth-down conversions, a big pass play, potential door-slamming three-yard touchdown run by Gainwell. 31-17 Philly with 4:46 left.

Sean Desai
Miami entered the game No. 1 in offense by yards, points, and DVOA.
The Eagles have held the Dolphins to one offensive touchdown.
Story of the game is this superb defensive performance — and missing three Week 1 starters in the secondary.
Sean Desai's stock is soaring.

Sean Desai’s unit is banged up, but his defense still held the Dolphins to 244 yards of total offense, and 4-11 on third downs.
The Dolphins entered the night scoring 37.2 points per game while averaging 498.7 yards per game
Tonight: 17 points/244 yards
Is that good?
