Tom Parker proposed to his wife Kelsey Hardwick with an emotional homemade video.
The Wanted star tragically lost his battle with brain cancer yesterday at the age of 33, but his and wife Kelsey's love story was truly something very beautiful. She documented the incredible proposal in a vlog on YouTube.
Kelsey devastatingly confirmed her husband's death yesterday in an emotional statement, where she told fans and friends she couldn't have been more proud of her husband and how hard he fought despite his terminal diagnosis.
She made a vlog of the whole engagement and their experience doing a post-engagement photoshoot.
Kelsey began it be telling viewers: "Something amazing happened last night. Tom proposed to me. I am now a fiancé and Tom is my fiancé and we're getting married. Look at it, how amazing! Eek! Literally, last night was the best night of my life."
She then showed off the beautiful ring and the special lengths Tom had gone to make sure she had a special day. "And this is how he decorated the room, look at the petals. How good was last night? You did so good, didn't you?" she told Tom.
"I'm embarrassed," he replied to her, as he looked into the camera and gave it a smile.
She then shared another clip where she spoke about the beautiful video Tom had made himself for the proposal.
"We should show everyone the video you made, because everyone will then get the full effect of what you did. It was emotional," Kelsey admitted before proceeding to tell those tuning in about the amazing lengths that her then husband-to-be went to to make sure she had the most perfect day with Tom.
Gushing about the most incredible proposal, she explained a bit about the set up: "We had candelabras, and we had candles and everything was alight. The room was so beautiful and Tom got down on one knee."
At the end of the vlog, Kelsey shared the video that Tom had made for her, which featured just some of the highlights from their long relationship. The clips - which included photos from their many adventures together - were perfectly put together to a song, which included the lyrics: "So sing your song, sing it loud. I don't know how you got me, I'm dancing from the inside out."
