It might be a gloomy time economically, but that is always when London fashion has thrived. We are a city famed for our creativity, subversive punk spirit and wit and nowhere is this more on display than our catwalks. And there’s no doubt our young creatives can spin gold from a shoestring — keep an eye out for the MA graduates at Central Saint Martins who will show their designs this week, as well as the brightest new names on the London Fashion Week schedule: Jawara Alleyne, Paolo Carzana and Tolu Coker.
