Inside Bimberi youth jail: staff fed up with assaults, working 'for free'

Industrial action is set to spread to Canberra's adult jail as year-long negotiations between the ACT government and public sector unions over pay and conditions drag on.

Youth workers at the Bimberi Youth Justice Centre walked off the job for an hour on Tuesday, September 29, and are planning to take further action in the coming weeks.
