Iconic ITV duo Ant and Dec will be back on our screens tonight for the 18th series of Saturday Night Takeaway.
The Geordie presenting duo will be joined by Stephen Mulhern, Andi Peters and Fleur East. Returning to the popular ITV show are all the classics, from Ant vs Dec and On Air Dares, Singalong Live and The End Of The Show Show.
It's been a busy few months for Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who also present I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Britain's Got Talent and Limitless Win.
The dynamic duo have been entertaining the nation for three decades since they appeared on Byker Grove in 1990.
Through their incredible career they have amassed an eye-watering amount of money, and are locked into an incredible deal with ITV. Here we take a closer look.
Ant and Dec net worth
Ant and Dec's net worth is estimated to be around £62million each, however 46-year-old Ant has since been through an expensive divorce.
Ant's former company Teecourt dissolved in October 2020, with a whopping £20million reportedly left in the bank.
He also had to pay a whopping £31million to his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong. The divorce settlement was thought to be the biggest one in history by a UK celebrity.
However, Ant and Dec currently have a deal with ITV that is worth a lot of money. In 2020 the Mirror reported that Ant and Dec were in talks about a three-year deal worth around £40million.
According to The Sun, the deal was signed in 2021 for shows such as Britain's Got Talent, I'm A Celebrity, Saturday Night Takeaway and Ant And Dec's DNA Journey.
Ant and Dec's deal could end up being worth £50million if they decide to extend the three-year agreement, the publication added.
Their deal means the duo can reportedly earn a combined £3.3million a month from ITV, for hosting shows such as Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
Ant and Dec’s previous deal with ITV ran out in 2019, and was thought to be worth £30million.
Speaking at the time, the pair said: "We are absolutely delighted to be extending our relationship with ITV, to continue on the three shows we love as well as exploring further opportunities both in front of and behind the camera."
The Sun also reported that Ant and Dec raked in a whopping £2.1million in the year ending June 30 2020, equating to £41,000 a week.
Their huge earnings were revealed due to their two businesses, Mitre Holdings and Hurley Products, which are respectively named after the pub in Byker Grove and Ant's dog. The businesses oversee Ant and Dec's TV empire.
The pair have invested their money wisely in property, and they are both said to have portfolios worth around £10million combined. This is despite losing £2.5million when a luxury apartment development in the Algarve collapsed.
They are also said to be insured against each other's death, worth around £1million.
Dec is also the sole owner of production company Deecourt. As of July 2021, his company was reportedly bringing in £2,255 a day.
Saturday Night Takeaway returns to ITV tonight, February 19 at 7pm.
