After missing Klay Thompson for two games, the Golden State Warriors could be getting back their five-time All-Star shooting guard before meeting the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
Thompson missed Golden State’s back-to-back losses against the Mavs and Minnesota Timberwolves due to a general illness. Thompson missed the open of the Warriors’ four-game road swing on Tuesday and joined the team for practice on Wednesday in Dallas.
Although he’s listed as questionable with an illness, Thompson told reporters at practice he would play on Thursday against the Mavericks.

Similar to Thompson, Moses Moody is also listed as questionable on Thursday against the Mavericks with an eye contusion. After a collision with Karl-Anthony Towns in the first quarter against the Timberwolves, Moody was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Following the Warriors’ loss to the Timberwolves, Steve Kerr revealed Moody’s eye was swollen shut from his collision with Towns.
Despite his swollen eye, Moody was back on the floor for practice with the team on Wednesday in Dallas.
Moses Moody and Klay Thompson will both be listed as questionable vs Dallas, per Kerr. But both practiced today and seem to be trending toward playing.
