Injury Report: Warriors’ Draymond Green (knee) questionable vs. Trail Blazers on Tuesday

After missing two games due to a knee injury, Draymond Green was back on the practice floor for the Golden State Warriors on Monday afternoon. Following his knee flaring up on Sunday before the Warriors’ win over the Timberwolves, Steve Kerr said Green could require an MRI on his right knee.

On Monday, Kerr revealed Green’s MRI came back clear and he was able to practice. According to Kerr, Green is considered questionable for Tuesday’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

During the 2022-23 season, Green is averaging 8.1 points on 51.7% shooting from the field with 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 31.5 minutes per contest.

On Tuesday against the Blazers, the Warriors could use Green on the floor to slow down Damian Lillard coming off an incredible 71-point performance on Sunday night against the Rockets.

If Green is unable to play, Kerr will likely lean on the same lineup from Golden State’s previous two games. Jonathan Kuminga and Donte DiVincenzo will join the starting lineup alongside Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole and Kevon Looney.

The Warriors will meet Lillard and the Blazers on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. PT in San Francisco.
