A dinosaur which appeared in the heart of London has bemused onlookers who thought it looked like something a lot more rude.
The large inflatable creature arrived in Leicester Square and has already caused something of a consternation on social media.
People made suggestive remarks about the giant lime-coloured dino which was presumably supposed to attract the attention of kids.
Unfortunately, it did gather some interest, but mainly from adults who reckoned it had more than a passing resemblance to male genitalia.
The erection of the inflatable attracted a string of posts on Twitter including one from @moanystark who posted the giant creature on his feed.
Along with the picture he wrote "It’s all gone a bit Phoenix Nights in Leicester Square."
Other amused posters responded to the post and questioned if the creature, which has dark eyes at the end of its long green neck, was attracting the right people.
@idlewildgirl said: "Is it meant to…look like that??"
While others guffawed at the dinosaur and what it actually looked like.
The creature was 'erected' as part of a promotion for the latest JackAss comedy flick according to one user on Reddit.
@thehibachi wrote: "For those unaware, it’s promo for Jackass Forever."
One poster who responded said: "Ah! That’s why it’s phallic shaped!"
The giant green creature also had orange spikes on its back and lengthy tale which allowed for more jests.
Another Reddit poster said: "There was no way this wasn't deliberate"
@Fancy Hawk wrote "Get that bloody love length off my club premises!"
Adults clearly thought the giant green specimen was aimed at them rather than children.
And its arrival in Leicester Square provoked some amusing reactions as one person guarded it in case high winds sent it towering off in another direction.
Other couples posed for selfies with the inflatable which began to draw crowds when it first went up in the square.
Tourists were also intrigued by the giant 30 ft inflatable which also sported some giant dinosaur claws which looked liked they could cause a bit of damage.
But it was its likeness to a male member which left people in most amused and continued to attract attention during the day.
Passers-by stopped and took pictures on their phones and were surprised by its size.
The film Jackass Forever, which the giant green creature was promoting is a black comedy directed by and is he sequel to Jackass 3D which was released in 2010.
It is a compilation of stunts, pranks and skits and opens with a parody of Godzilla where cast members fight off the monster.
