IndiGo to start direct Guwahati-Bangkok flights from October 27

IndiGo will launch non-stop flights between Guwahati and Bangkok from October 27, 2026, marking the airline’s first international operations from Guwahati and the beginning of direct international connectivity from Northeast India.

The airline will operate the service twice a week, with a special inaugural flight on October 27. From October 31, flights will operate every Wednesday and Saturday, subject to regulatory approvals.

The route will connect Northeast India with Thailand and support leisure and business travel, tourism, trade and cultural exchange between the two regions. It is also expected to strengthen Guwahati’s role as an international gateway to Southeast Asia.

For IndiGo, the launch marks a new phase in its operations from Guwahati. The city has been part of the airline’s network since its early years, including its inaugural Delhi-Guwahati-Imphal flight in 2006.

Customers can book tickets through IndiGo’s website, mobile application and authorised travel partners.
