India’s Gen Z-led “cockroach” protest movement has threatened to return to the streets if all those arrested in the aftermath of last week’s demonstrations are not immediately released.
The Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) weeks-long demonstration in Delhi forced the country's education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, to resign in a rare setback for the Narendra Modi government. Only one other minister has ever resigned throughout Mr Modi’s 12 years as prime minister.
