Indian Grandmasters Gukesh, Humpy to play Armageddon Championship Finale in Berlin

NAGPUR: Indian chess Grandmasters D Gukesh and Humpy Koneru are geared up for an intense showdown in the Armageddon Championship Series Finale in Berlin from Thursday.

The high-stakes seven-day event which will conclude on September 20 features a stellar line-up of top-tier chess players including luminaries such as Wesley So, Sam Shankland, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Bibisara Assaubayeva, Richard Rapport and Jan-Krzysztof Duda. Their goal will be to seize the coveted Armageddon Championship title and a substantial €200,000 prize fund.
