Indian campaign ends in Singapore after exit of Manika-Archana pair

SINGAPORE: India's campaign in the $2 million Singapore Smash came to an end with the quarterfinal exit of Manika Batra and Archana Kamath in women's doubles on Tuesday.

The second-seeded Japanese pair of Hina Hayata and Mima Ito needed just 25 minutes to dispose of the Indian duo 11-7, 11-4, 11-8 to enter the semifinals.
