Rain gods visited the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York when India played Pakistan on June 9, but according to the weather forecast for Wednesday (June 12), there is minimal to no chance of any such interruptions when co-hosts USA take on Rohit Sharma-led India at the same venue.

Rain held up proceedings twice in the India vs Pakistan match, where overcast skies welcomed the two teams to the stadium. But weather is expected to be clear on Wednesday when the US team will aim for another upset, having won both their matches so far in Group A.
