India to Bangladesh: Want ties to be people-centric

DHAKA: India on Sunday conveyed to the new Bangladesh govt that it wants to strengthen people-centric cooperation in all domains, working together in a positive, constructive and forward-looking manner, bas-ed on mutual interest and benefit.

Both sides have agreed to maintain regular engagement to further strengthen the bilateral relationship - which hit a low during the 18-month tenure of the Muhammad Yunus-led interim govt.
