NEW DELHI: Team India slumped to the third position in the Asia/Oceania Group I competition of the Billie Jean King Cup after they were blanked 0-3 by China in their third tie in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Thursday.

India's Rutuja Bhosale lost the opening rubber 3-6, 5-7 to China's Xinyu Jiang.
