NEW DELHI: India on Thursday reported 67,084 new Covid cases and 1,242 deaths. The death toll has reached 5,06,520. Of the total Covid cases, 7,90,789 are active cases.
India reported 1,67,882 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 4,11,80,751. The recovery rate is currently at 96.95%. The daily positivity rate is presently 4.44 per cent and the weekly positivity rate is 6.58 per cent.
Total 74.61 crore Covid tests were conducted, of which 15.11 lakh were conducted in the past 24 hours.
Total of 171.28 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive.
