NEW DELHI: India on Friday reported 17,070 fresh Covid cases and 23 deaths.
The total active cases in the country has further increased to 1,07,189. This is 0.25 per cent of total cases. A total of 14,413 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, which has taken the recovery rate to 98.55 per cent.
The daily positivity rate stands at 3.40 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 3.59 per cent.
A total of 86.28 crore Covid tests have so far been conducted, of which 5,02,150 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. A total of 197.74 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
