India head coach Igor Stimac banned for 2 games, fined

NEW DELHI: Head coach Igor Stimac has been handed a two-match ban and a fine of 500 USD on Friday for his red-card offence during India's last group match against Kuwait in SAFF Championships in Bengaluru.

During India's 1-1 draw against Kuwait, Stimac was seen arguing with the match officials and the SAFF Disciplinary Committee deemed a 2-match ban fit for the offence.
