BENGALURU: India logged another spurt in Covid-19 infections, with daily cases surging to a 124-day high of more than 17,200 on Thursday as testing increased.
This was a jump from the previous day's tally of 13,316, till then the highest single-day count in the current June surge. While Maharashtra posted 5,218 cases (including some backdated ones), highest since Feb 11, Karnataka saw 858 new cases and one death.
