LEADING figures in the independence movement have been urged to hold a summit to thrash out a list of “day one guarantees” to give voters for an independent Scotland.
The independence group, a faction within the SNP formed at their recent party conference in Aberdeen, has written to the SNP, the Scottish Greens, Believe in Scotland and the Scottish Currency Group to request a meeting between the five organisations for a summit “to agree a common set of guarantees and protections for Scotland's transition to independence”.
