German WWII torpedo boat discovered : For more than a decade, researchers had been searching the Ionian Sea for a German naval boat that disappeared during World War II.

That search has now ended. A team from AegeanTec has located the wreck of what researchers identify as Leichte Schnellboot 6, or LS 6, a rare German “Light Fast Boat” that sank off western Greece in September 1943, as per a report.
