Immigration rules relaxed for care workers to help crisis in social care sector

Those who work in the social care sector will see immigration rules relaxed to help ease the shortage of care worker jobs.

It comes as the social care sector increasingly struggles to attract and keep staff and care workers have now been added to the shortage occupation list.

The decision was first announced by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) on Christmas Eve, the BBC reported.
