The 48-year-old tweeted: "Went for a massage, but I think it was a brothel.….it was the high heels and lube.
"Anyone else accidentally do this?"
Imelda’s followers and fans took to the comments to share their own hilarious stories.
One said: "I was a young, green, newly qualified massage therapist in London and was so excited to go on my 1st interview for a job, thought the place was down a dodgy lane alright, walked in and saw all the doors with towels outside them, owner in high heels, a short skirt...morto."
Another added: "Yep! Thought I was taking my mum to the beauticians, it wasn't."
A third commented: "YEP. Several times. Had a shoulder issue years ago and when travelling round the world would often try getting massage."
Last month, Imelda shared the frightening experience of how her boyfriend was 'lucky to be alive' after he was involved in a car crash on an icy road.
Imelda shared a picture of her boyfriend Niall McNamee's car to Facebook following the accident, revealing that he was fortunately unharmed following the incident.
Imelda posted: "My boyfriend @niallmcnamee was lucky to climb out of this alive and unharmed in the cold dark of night last night. Even careful drivers like him are gotten by icy roads.
"Be careful out there."
Niall, a fellow singer, recently celebrated his 29th birthday and Imelda took to her Instagram to gush about her boyfriend.
Taking to her Instagram, Imelda first shared a picture of the delicious cake she bought for the occasion.
On the cake was a picture of Niall and it said: "Happy birthday Niall."
She then shared a picture of Niall in a pub in Belfast followed by some snaps with the friends that joined them for his birthday.
The singer captioned the sweet post saying: "Happy Birthday Niall!! You are the best.
"We had the most amazing night in beloved Belfast with such great company."
