A Virginia resident and TikToker, Scott, recently went viral after he posted a video expressing his frustration over a change to his favorite coffee creamer bottle. The video, which has over 1.8 million views on TikTok, showed Scott comparing an old, sturdy bottle of International Delight to a new, skinnier version with what he considered a flimsy lid. It is a change he believed makes the product worse. It then triggered a conversation about a decline in quality while prices stay high.
In his video, Scott did not hold back. He said, “I’m going to start a revolution. Now this, what has happened to me this morning, like just now, makes me want to start a revolution. Makes me want to burn the entire thing down.” He pointed out that while the fluid ounces might be the same, the bottle itself feels like it is made of cheaper, thinner plastic. The lid, which he described as his favorite part of the design, has been changed to feature a harsh, uncomfortable edge.
