The best smart rings are the latest kind of wearable, able to measure bodily metrics all day long and, because they’re so light, you can wear them while you sleep, too. In most cases, there’s no display to distract you, so the ring sits quietly on your finger, barely noticed.
Except they are noticeable. Until last week, I’ve been wearing the Oura ring 4 ceramic. It’s a beautiful thing, but it’s bigger than most conventional rings, to the extent that on about a weekly basis, someone will say to me, “Is that an Oura Ring?” (Happily, they almost always compliment the way it looks.)
