Ilkay Gundogan’s agent Ilhan has denied reports claiming that the Manchester City captain has agreed a new contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Gundogan is into the final four weeks of his current deal with City, meaning he can leave on a free transfer come the end of the month. Some recent reports claimed that the German international was set to pen a new contract with Pep Guardiola's side, something his agent has quickly rubbished.
“Nothing has been agreed with City or any other club”, he told transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on rumours of a new deal having been agreed. "The recent reports are not true. Ilkay is only focused on the (Champions League) final."

Both Arsenal and Barcelona have been heavily linked with a potential move for Gundogan if he does decide to leave City this summer. football.london understands that the Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield options this summer as Mikel Arteta looks to close the gap on City, who clinched their five Premier League title in six years this season.
West Ham United captain Declan Rice is Arteta's priority target in the centre of the park, football.london understands. But the Spaniard is likely to face stiff competition for the England international, with the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich also been heavily linked with a potential move.
