Ilkay Gundogan has broken his silence on his Manchester City future amid links to both Arsenal and Barcelona.
Gundogan netted both goals for Pep Guardiola's side when they defeated local rivals Manchester United 2-1 in Saturday's FA Cup final. The German international is into the final four weeks of his contract at the Etihad Stadium, meaning he would be available on a free transfer if he doesn't agree fresh terms with the Citizens before then.
Now, the 32-year-old has spoken candidly about his future with City, admitting that nothing is yet decided. Speaking about his next steps to the BBC after the match at Wembley, he said: "To be honest I don’t need these kind of days to feel appreciated and to feel special in this club.

"I know that, that is why I am here already seven years with all the ups and downs I’ve had so far. Nothing is decided yet so we’re gonna see what’s going to happen."
The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker has enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign, netting 11 goals and providing a further six assists across all competitions. Sport reported on Saturday that Gundogan is ready to 'close the chapter' on his spell in the Premier League and has been convinced to join La Liga outfit Barcelona.
Xavi's side are said to have offered him a three-year contract, an additional 12 months to their initial two-year proposal.
