Brain teasers have always been recommended to keep your mind sharp. They test cognitive skills that improve your memory, ability to learn and problem-solving skills.
Brain teasers also challenge you to think outside the box and The Mirror has posted a new tricky one - courtesy of Jagran Josh - to test you. These type of fun games are solved with creative thinking. According to the teaser’s website, you will need to think a little differently to spot the odd letter X.
Spend enough time looking at it and you are bound to spot it, but the challenge is in spotting it quickly. If you’re struggling, here’s a quick clue - look to the right of the image.
If you spotted it quickly, here’s another teaser. This one only gives you 13 seconds to spot the odd letter between the X’s and K’s.

According to a report in The Mirror, Mensa spokeswoman Ann Clarkson said: “There are a lot of Mensa members who will tell you they are rubbish at maths and there are a lot who are very good at maths.
“I think the problem arises because people see maths puzzles labelled as IQ tests and assume that to score highly, you need maths. In reality, a genuine IQ test doesn’t have maths in it, beyond very basic arithmetic. An IQ test assesses logic, pattern recognition and speed of thought, not learned knowledge.”
