Mohamed Salah has said he wants to keep being feared by defenders as he chases the Ballon d'Or this year.
World football's biggest individual prize has so far alluded the Egyptian winger despite a number of impressive seasons at Liverpool, which has seen him play an instrumental role in the club winning the Premier League, the Champions League and reaching a further two European Cup finals, plus a number of other team honours.
Though Salah was named the PFA Men's Players' Player of the Year and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year this season, he is unlikely to win the 2022 Ballon d'Or due to the Reds losing last month's Champions League final to Real Madrid, whose forward Karim Benzema is the favourite to land the award.
