Idris Elba's daughter Isan reveals she's turned down Love Island 'multiple times'

Idris Elba’s daughter Isan has revealed she has turned down Love Island “multiple times”.

Isan, 24 - who Idris shares with his first wife, Hanne Norgaard - says she’s always said no when bosses have asked her on the show.

“For the past few years without fail, I have been invited to go on Love Island,” Isan revealed.

“They have even offered for me to skip the line and go straight to the final interview.”

Isan, who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, added: “Those challenges are a humiliation ritual.

“There is no way in hell I could be practically naked, making out with multiple people in front of millions of viewers.

“I am too awkward to kiss somebody on camera, let alone give lap dances.”

She also said her no-nonsense approach to dating would mean she isn’t suited to the show, saying “it takes a certain type of personality to go on that show”.

“Number two, I’m a man hater,” she added to the MailOnline.

“There is no way that I’d be putting up with the BS that the men do on that show.

“I would be cussing everybody out, and that is not good for the brand.”

Famous children who have been on Love Island include Michael Owen’s daughter, Gemma, and Ronan Keating’s son Jack, who just appeared on the latest series of All Stars.

Isan has previously revealed she wants to follow in her dad’s footsteps, and become a producer.

“I want to be a producer. I grew up on film sets and I've been around that my entire life so it was kind of a no-brainer,” she said, speaking to Tatler.

“When I was much younger I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian, but once I realised what my parents did – and you know, they are my idols – I realised I want to be in the film industry.”

She also previously shared with People magazine the best piece of advice her dad has given her.

“He's always taught me to make sure you acknowledge everybody you're around because you never know who you're going to meet,” she said.

“They could be your next best friend!”
