Idea of first Black Friday game in New York helped Jets land historic game

Jets Black Friday New York Aaron Rodgers Cincinnati Bengals

The Jets will host the Miami Dolphins in the first ever game to take place on Black Friday. The game is set for a 3:00 kickoff and will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon ended up liking the idea of having the game in New York, the No. 1 retail location in America, on a day that is all about shopping. That plus the addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers helped make the Jets a very viable option for this game.
