Idaho riverfront mansion heads to no-reserve auction at $3.86M asking price

A sprawling Idaho estate with sweeping Snake River views is taking an unusual route to its next owner. A news report by PR Newswire states that after previously being offered for $3.86 million, the 5.3-acre riverfront property in American Falls will be sold without reserve on September 17, 2026, with the final sale price determined entirely by the highest bidder. Even more unusually, the proceeds will serve a charitable purpose, with the owner pledging to split them equally between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Mayo Clinic, adds the online report.
