As the cost of living crisis continues to bite, one supermarket says it is doing its bit to help Brits stay well-fed.
Iceland is offering budget 'fakeaway' meal bundles - including Indian, Chinese, American and Italian - for as little as £2.17 per head. The supermarket is offering the new deals after a Forbes Advisor survey found that 83% of Brits are choosing to cut their spending on takeaways to help make ends meet.
Culinary offerings from the supermarket include Chicken Korma or Tikka Masala for just £2.50, Sweet and Sour Chicken for £3, Southern Fried Boneless Chicken Thighs for £3.50 and a side of Thin and Crispy French Fries for just £1.
