Iceland is stocking a new ‘dessert bar’ that has impressed shoppers so much, they’re planning to bulk buy it.
The supermarket giant is loved by many for its frozen dessert goodies and its latest release has gone down a storm with shoppers. Iceland, which has several stores across Merseyside, has caused a stir after it was confirmed the supermarket is now selling a giant Mars Dessert Bar.
Those who have spent years of dreaming of a super-sized Mars bar are in luck, with the product available in stores now and online here. The 600g bar looks exactly like the popular chocolate treat and just needs to be defrosted in the fridge before serving.

It’s made with a chocolate sponge base, with caramel and mousse layers and is covered in a chocolate glaze. News of the new dessert bar was shared by social media food blogger newfoodsuk on Instagram and Facebook. The blogger’s posts racked up hundreds of comments from excited shoppers, keen to try it out.
One person said: “Looks Yummy”. Another added: “That looks superb”. A third person was planning to bulk buy, having said: “ok ill have 6”.
