Iceland has announced a massive sale on items in its own version of Amazon Prime Day.
The frozen food specialists have cut prices of Pringles, pizzas and ice cream in what they said was a bid to launch deals on products they think shoppers "actually need". A spokesperson said: "Today, Iceland introduces ‘Discount Dash’ – in a bid to take on Prime Day. But shoppers will have to be quick.
"From July 11 and 12, online shoppers can get into the Prime state of mind with deals from Iceland on items they actually need. ‘Discount Dash’ provides an average saving of 33% across the 42 products on offer, including household staples from Fairy laundry beads to TGI Friday fakeaways.
