Iceland, Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco have recalled several popular products ahead of Christmas

Several supermarkets have recalled products amid safety fears. Customers are told not to eat and drink them but instead return them for a full refund and you don't actually need your receipt to get your money back.

The stores affected include Sainsbury, Tesco, Iceland and Asda. Details on product recalls are published by the Food Safety Agency (FSA) and we have put together some of the latest recalls so you can keep yourself and you family safe.

Sainsbury's and Tesco

Aero Hot Chocolate products are being recalled (FSA)

Nestlé UK is taking a precautionary step of recalling Aero Hot Chocolate products because a small number of packs may contain small pieces of food-grade silica beads, making them unsafe to eat.

Aero Hot Choc jars

If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them. Instead, dispose of the contents and send the lid of the jar, the empty sachet or the sleeve of the cups (cardboard of plastic 8-sleeve) with your name and address for a full refund to Aero Hot Chocolate Recall, PO BOX 205, Freepost 1374, York, YO91 1XB. Sainsbury's

Yarden Tahina Salad of Sesame Paste with Garlic and Parsley may contain salmonella (FSA)

Osem UK Ltd has informed Sainsbury's that they are voluntarily recalling all pots of Yarden Tahina Salad of Sesame Paste with Garlic and Parsley 250g as the product may contain salmonella.

Sainsbury's is asking customers who have purchased the above product not to eat it and to return it to their nearest Sainsbury's store, where they will receive a full refund.

Iceland

Iceland is taking the precautionary measure of recalling Iceland Pilau Rice 350g because this product may contain undeclared egg, soya, sesame and wheat allergens, and therefore poses a potential risk to those people that have an allergy or intolerance to egg, soya, sesame seed and wheat.

Only the best before date listed is affected. If you have purchased any of the above product, do not eat it. Instead check if you have bought any of the affected product. - you can do this by taking a photo of this notice or writing down the details at home.

Return to any Iceland store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.

Asda is taking the precautionary action of recalling three Asda Extra Special Mince Pies because they may contain pieces of plastic, which makes them unsafe to eat.
