The image to describe a meteoric career should use the face of Ice Spice. In addition to her success in music, the Dominican-American rapper is now making her acting debut in Spike Lee's latest project, an English-language remake of "High and Low," the acclaimed crime thriller by iconic Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
As an icing on the cake, Ice Spice is joined by legendary actor Denzel Washington, with whom Lee has previously collaborated on several celebrated films, including "Mo' Better Blues" and "Inside Man." The participation of Ice Spice, plus the duo of Lee and Washington, promises a spectacular cinematic experience.
