Police investigating ‘culpable and reckless conduct’ during an Old Firm clash at Ibrox stadium have released CCTV of a man they want to talk to.
Officers believe the football fan may have information about the incident which took place on Monday, January 2, during the Rangers v Celtic match.
He is described as being aged between mid to late 40s with short, dark brown hair. At the time, he was wearing a blue Stone Island jacket, black leather gloves and had a checked scarf wrapped around his neck.
Police are the man or anyone who may know him to come forward. Constable Daniel Brady, from the Greater Glasgow Division, said: “We would urge this male or anyone who knows him to please make contact with us.
“I would also ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or anyone with information relating to the incident, to please speak to officers via 101, quoting reference 0922 of 2 January, 2023.
“Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
